In 1995, the CFEA completed construction on two new expressways:
State Road 575 (SR 575) connects Sanford to Ocala via US 192/State Road 2nd Avenue. and State Road 624 (SR 624) connects Melbourne to Winter Garden via US 27/State Road 408A (SR 408A).
These two new expressways were designated portions of I-4s that had been truncated prior to their completion.
